September 2006 - Paradox church launches in Detroit. Through the collaborative efforts of ELI and partner churches Forefront, Gateway, Kensington and New Life, Paradox Church was launched in Detroit under the leadership of Craig McGlassion. This dynamic church is reaching next generation families in the community of Roseville northeast of Detroit. January, 2007 - Craig Whitney joins ELI. Craig is an experienced church planter, pastor, entrepreneur and coach. As the Executive Director of ELI, he will oversee the development and implementation of ELI's collaborative strategy for creating a self-sustaining, nationwide church multiplication movement. June, 2007 - New Partnerships formed to start church in Bend, Oregon and San Antonio Texas. ELI has formed new partnerships that will facilitate the launch of two new churches. Sean Anderson is preparing to launch Sundeos Church this fall in Bend, Oregon with support from ELI, Coast Hills and Gateway. Dave Lantz is preparing to launch Rock Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas in early 2008 with the help of ELI and sponsorship from a network of RCA churches.

John Burke will be speaking in both the pre- and post-launch tracks as well as leading a session in the Nuts and Bolts track. John Buke will be presenting on of 8 sessions at this one day event along with a great line-up that includes several other effective church planters.
